Taste: Flavors of plum, raspberry and vanilla with notes of Morello cherry liqueur and roasted walnut to complement the sweet, rounded tannins. This exceptional wine has great fruit concentration and a velvety finish.
Cellaring Potential: 7-10 yrs.
Food Matching: Red meats, braised or bbq'd, strong cheeses
Vinification: Each of the varietals were individually vinificated and aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels. Then the Blend was performed. This Blend rested for 6 more months in new French oak barrels to nurture and harmonize the particular characteristics of each varietal
Aging: The aromatic richness of this Blend is made complete with the touch of vanilla and chocolate acquired from new French oak barrels, where it rested for 18 months. This is a full bodied, structured wine with well rounded tannins, qualities which give it a long finish.
