Berta 2010 Bric del Gaian Grappa di Moscato


Discontinuous distillation with small copper steam boilers. Berta is one of the only distilleries that prior to finishing the grappa, they lower the temperature of the spirit to -16 degrees celsius to solidify and remove all of the bitter oils. Ageing takes place in oak barrels for a period of 8 years. Oak is medium+ toasted.
