Corteaura Franciacorta Saten DOCG

Production Area: The grapes come from vineyards located in different municipalities of Franciacorta, representing all the different landscape units that characterize the area. Plant density: 5000 bases/ha. Training: Guyot and Spurred cordon. Yield per hectare: 65Hl/Ha.
Type: Sparkling Wine
Alcohol: 12.5
Grape Varieties: Chardonnay-100
Color: straw-yellow colour and fine perlage.
Aroma: The wine has a delicate floral fragrance.
Taste: The taste is soft and delicately creamy, nuanced but distinct scent of ripe fruit, accompanied by subtle hints of white flowers and nuts, or roasted (almonds or hazelnuts), pleasant savour and freshness that fuse with a natural smoothness that recalls the delicate feeling of silk. Serving temperature: 6 ° C
Cellaring Potential: Made to enjoy now, but will develop complexity over the next 3-5 years
Food Matching: Great with aperitifs and throughout the meal. It will perfectly go with main and second courses based on fish and vegetables, raw fish, fried fish and vegetables, mixed cold pork meats, white meat, and ripe cheese.
Vinification: Soft pressing of the grapes fermented in steel tanks at controlled temperature (16 °C). At the second fermentation, the base wine intended for satèn is characterized by a lower addition of sugar in the liqueur de triage compared to brut (18g/l against 24g/l of brut); this determines a lower gas evolution, with a higher sensitivity to the taste and refinement of foam.
Aging: Bottle ageing on leaven for a period of 40 months in cellars at the constant temperature of 12-15 °C.
