Colterenzio Formigar Chardonnay 2014

Producer: Produttori Colterenzio Soc. Agr. Coop.

Formigar was the original name of Firmiano Castle. Alto Adige’s largest self-contained vineyard area spreads out south of the castle, where this sinewy but elegant Chardonnay grows, on a dry plateau of gravel and eroded porphyry.

Vintage: 2014
Production Area: Alto Adige. Selected vineyards at an altitude of approx. 400-550 m a.s.l. A very dry site, medium-structure morainal soils with a sand and gravel composition; the micro-climate is cool, with striking contrasts between day and night time temperatures.
Type: White Table Wine
