THE HISTORY OF AN AREA
Founded in 1958 in Castiglione Falletto, Terre del Barolo began as a cooperative between a handful of families and has since grown to more than 300 members representing all eleven communes making up the Barolo appellation.

Lovely aromas ncluding dark fruit, floral elements, black plu and licorice spice.
Taste
It is medium-bodied with grippy but balanced tannins. Elegant, refined and well-balanced.
Cellaring Potential
Suitable for lengthy ageing in the cellar.
Food Matching
Pasta dishes with mushroom or cheese sauces, or served with Alba white truffle, red meat and game stews and pot roasts, mature cheeses.
Vinification
100% hand-picked, the fruit is sourced from throughout the Barolo region.
Destemming and crushing in a controlled atmosphere; alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature (28-30°C) on the skins for a total of around 16-20 days.
Aging
Aged 38 months, of which 18 months were in 25/50 hl French oak casks.
