Production Area: The Chianti Classico”Sorleone” is produced with a selection of grapes by the vineyards located in Villa a Sesta, Castelnuovo Berardenga, near Siena, Tuscany.

Productive specifications: The density of the plants is from 4.500 plants to 5.000 per hectare, with a production of 60 quintals of grape and a medium yield of wine of 40 Hl. Vinification: The grapes is manually collected in cases with a table hand-selection procedure and subsequently destemmed and pressed. The vinification occurs inside conical oak casks at the controlled temperature of 27°C and the alcoholic fermentation is long 7-10. The following skins maceration is long 10 days . Each variety is separately vinificated and subsequently assembled. Maturation and refining: The maturation of Chianti Classico “Sorleone” occurs in oak barriques medium toasted coming from central French mountains for a period of 15 months. Before the presentation in to the market, Chianti Classico Riserva remains in bottles for about 6 months.


Deep ruby red


To the nose is winey and floral. Fruity with strong scent of cherry, nuts and spices like green pepper, cinnamon and vanilla.


Tasting with very good structure, this wine in has in mouth a medium acidity never aggressive. Long and elegant finishing with a good persistence.
