Description
Named after the year of Rock Bare's first vintage and Peter Click, the founding partner and friend of RockBare. Click ’99.
McLaren Vale is the birthpace of wine in South Australia. Its Mediterranean climate and proximity to the ocean means this region receives a cooling effect from winds. Cabernet Sauvignon shines from cooler sites, which are ideal for producing full-bodied, classically expressive Caberenets such as this one.

hints of tobacco leaves and capsicum typical of the Limestone Coast.

delectable cigar box toastiness
Food Matching
Pairing CLICK ' 99 Cabernet Sauvignon with steak, lamb, or aged cheeses is an excellent choice, as the wine's high tannins and acidity will cut through the richness, cleanse your palate, and complement the meal's flavors. Hearty dishes such as beef stew or mushroom risotto are also great options. Don't be afraid to be unconventional - Cabernet and dark chocolate can serve as a delightful dessert pairing.
