PROMIS The name reminds of hte Italian word promessa, that means promise. A promise, exactly as an up-and-comer that, with its young and bold character, bring along a fresh breeze of liveliness and zest. It recalls, as well, the Gaja fa,ily commitment meant to start a valuable project in Tuscany.

Aroma

The nose shows straightforward hints of dried flowers, pollen and sweet spices. The aromas are subtle and elegant.

Taste

On the palate the wine is not overloaded, showing austerity and an upright structure. The palate is also full of the typical notes of the local Mediterranean bushes and berries. The harmony between good acidity and firm tannins is a premise for an excellent aging potential.

Vinification

The three varieties ferment and macerate separately for around 15 days. After that 12 months of ageing in oak. the bottle before release.

Aging

Then aged for several months in the bottle before release.
