The Castles of the Dubost family were created in 1957 by Pâquerette and Yvon Dubost, former mayor of Pomerol. Today, it is Laurent Dubost, their son, a graduate of an agricultural school, who manages the farm, and shows us through his vineyards a rich and complete range of wines. Thanks to his work and that of his team, he places his wines at the forefront of their respective appellation: Château Lafleur du Roy in Pomerol, Château La Vallière in Lalande-de-Pomerol, Château Bossuet in Bordeaux Supérieur, and Château Pâquerette in Bordeaux White Sec.

The bouquet is rich and complex, expressing aromas of black berries and spices, delicately combined with an elegant toasted oak.

This wine is rich, harmonious and persistent on the palate, with dense and round tannins which will allow it to age well.

The vinification remains traditional with around three weeks of maceration of the harvest in stainless steel vats. Aging takes place in oak barrels for 15 months, 30% of which are renewed each year. Racking takes place every three months. The bottling of the production, that is to say on average 1600 to 2000 cases of 12 bottles of 75 centilitres, takes place at the Château. It is provided by us, in the purest family tradition. This wine is stored in our cellars, specially designed for this purpose.
